Jean Orgonasi, a graduate of the Ecole normale supérieure de la rue d’Ulm, with a doctorate in physics, founded and chaired Digital Insure.

Jean worked for more than 20 years at BNP Paribas Assurance (Cardif) in its French and international businesses. He developed Cardif’s individual loan insurance business, creating a new leader in France. In charge of 14 countries, then head of Cardif’s worldwide provident business, he notably managed activities in the United Kingdom and the United States.

In 2012, he became Chief Operating Officer of Primonial, in charge of the merger with W Finance.

In 2013, he left this position to create Digital Insure with Fabrice Couturier and Richard Thibault.

In 2022, at a time when Digital Insure is the market leader and operates across the entire loan insurance and personal protection value chain with a resolutely “Tech” DNA, Jean sold his stake to the Odealim group when Ardian acquired a stake in the company.
